Though often crowded with pedestrians/dogs/strollers, the paths do provide safer off-street riding. One well-paved path with separation for pedestrians follows the Orange Line. Bike paths also surround the Sepulveda Basin. There are designated lanes on parts of White Oak Ave. and on a few other streets. Riding along the top of the Sepulveda Dam (or levee) on the east side of Woodley Park provides excellent views of the Basin.
