SweetSearch - A search engine designed for students. The search engine claims that every site that turns up in search results is evaluated by research experts. USA.gov - Need to find specific information on a policy, bill, or government agency? This is your go-to tool. You get access to national, state, and local governments as well as access to the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian, and more.

Booklist Online - Excellent resources for free audiobooks for students with disabilities.

Calisphere - Features digital versions of primary source material culled from the University of California libraries and archives. Collection can be browsed alphabetically by topic or by culture.

Preparing for College - U. S. Government publications. Also check their Paying for Higher Education publications.

My First Paycheck - Employment help and job listings for teens, which can be sorted by state. Sponsored by a subsidiary of AssetLab by Jeffrey Kelly.

College.gov - Student aid, put together by the Dept of Education, to encourage teens to attend college and help them plan how they are going to do it!

ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults - The American Library Association's list comprises a wide range of genres and styles, including contemporary realistic fiction, nonfiction that brings an awareness of the world we live in and its history, and fantastical stories told in both narrative and graphic formats.
