  • Children's Catalog (Wilson) - Selective annotated list for over 8,400 fiction and nonfiction works, story collections, picture books and magazines for children from preschool through sixth grade, along with review sources and other professional aids.
  • School Information Database - The school profiles provide more than 50 facts about the school you're researching. The reports provide a comparative view of a school, showing how it compares on each of those 50 factors to other schools.

L. A. Times  "Reading by 9" (2016 edition) is a multi-year campaign aimed at helping kindergarten through third-grade students read at grade level by the age of nine. The Parent Reading Guide includes book lists, literacy programs, reading tips and more.

Carol Hurst's Children's Literature - A collection of reviews of great books for kids, ideas of ways to use them in the classroom and collections of books and activities about particular subjects, curriculum areas, themes and professional topics.

Voice of Youth Advocates - Library magazine for those who serve teens. It includes books, films, special recommendations, reviews of good programs, ineresting activities for fun.

Repairing the World:   Books to Use to Introduce Service Learning Projects; A Selective Annotated Bibliography compiled March 2006/Revised January 2011, by Susan Dubin, Library Consultant, Off-the-Shelf Library Services. This 8-page bibliography includes: Feeding the Hungry, Caring for the Environment, Respecting Differences, Respecting the Elderly, Welcoming Guests.
