Past Events

We hope "the past is prelude to the future," and that we will continue to offer many similar programs for adults, kids, and teens, including and Summer Reading Club programs. BIG Book Sales, the Used Book Store, and membership dues fund the programs as well as books, media, and other library supplies.

Banner Paper Making

Banners of Joy: - November 19, 2018 - The holiday celebrations began at Encino-Tarzana Library with a creative workshop led by Monica The Creative Beast, as she guided adults to making a Banner of Joy as a way to claim Joy for the holiday season ahead. Participants of this Adult Program were guided in creating collage paper that was then cut into 3 flags they strung together to create their banners, then lettered by hand. Fun was had by all who joined in!
